This training is designed for new NACO Program members.
Important Note: These training modules are freely available to anyone to use at any time. However, non-PCC members wishing to contribute RDA name authority records to the LC/NACO Authority File must make formal training arrangements through the PCC Secretariat.
The training modules do not cover specialized areas of NACO work, such as authorized access points for music, law, and religious materials.
The training modules were created and tested by the RDA NACO Program Training Workshop Task Group, under the chairmanship of Lori Robare, University of Oregon. The members of the task group were Michael Colby (University of California--Davis), Joanna Dyla (Stanford University), Fang Gao (Government Publishing Office), Robert Maxwell (Brigham Young University), Mark Scharff (Washington University), and Adam Schiff (University of Washington). The Task Group completed its charge in May 2013.
