Grady Hendrix is an award-winning novelist and screenwriter living in New York City. He is the author of “Horrorstör” and “We Sold Our Souls.” His novel “My Best Friend’s Exorcism” is currently being adapted into film and the New York Times bestseller “The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires” is being adapted into a television show. Hendrix also authored the Bram Stoker Award-winning nonfiction book “Paperbacks from Hell,” a history of the horror paperback boom of the ‘70s and ‘80s. His latest nonfiction book is “These Fists Break Bricks: How Kung Fu Movies Swept America and Changed the World.” His most recent fiction release, “How to Sell a Haunted House,” will be featured at the 2023 National Book Festival.
