Event Concerts from the Library of Congress

How to Attend

Concerts hosted by the American Folklife Center are free and open to the public, and most are held in the Coolidge Auditorium or the Whittall Pavilion. Most folklife concerts do not require tickets.

Please be aware of the following:

  • Seating is first come, first served.
  • Please plan on arriving at a reasonable time with your entire party if you wish to sit together.
  • Entry to the Library is controlled by the United States Capitol Police. All bags will be screened and guests will be required to go through a metal detector.
  • It may be necessary to obtain a ticket or a timed-entry pass to the Library. If so, this will be noted in the event listing for the concert.

We look forward to seeing you!
