- - Arrangement: Albums arranged in chronological order.
- - Eleanor Butler Alexander married Theodore Roosevelt, Jr., (son of President Theodore Roosevelt) in 1910. She began assembling scrapbooks sometime after her marriage to document both the Alexander and Roosevelt families. By the mid-forties she began work to re-assemble her first nine albums into the format they are now and she continued constructing family scrapbooks through the late fifties. Eleanor Roosevelt made many of the original and copy photographs in the albums.
