Includes views of the cathedral of St. Vitus; Tynsky Chram (Tyn Church); St. Nicholas, St. Anna and St. Thomas churches, among others. Includes views of the 12th century synagogue (Alt-Neu), Klášter v Břevnově; Clam Gallas palace; Waldstein, Troja and Schwarzenberg palaces and Villa Americana. Also includes general views of narrow streets and old houses of the old city, medieval Charles Bridge and rooftop views of the city. Includes detailed studies of the work of Peter Parler and Cosmas Damian Asam, architects and artists. Associated with of the "Führerauftrag Monumentalmalerei," an official German project to photograph immovable works of art threatened by bombing during the war, 1943-45.
