  • -  無書名葉。正文卷端題"祝由科諸符祕卷一"，下無署名。正文前有"太上祝由科序"，末署"宋三十代大師張真人諱虛靖謹識"。後有太上戒語，專治各科，正一法派等。據正一法派載，祖師為張道陵，"祖師三十代天師虛靖圓通弘悟妙道真人諱繼先"。張虛靖又名繼先，是北宋時期活躍的道教人物。祝由科自元代即列入太医院十三科。祝由二字最早见于医书《素问》，谓上古之人治病，不用藥石，只要移易精神、变换气质，请人施展祝由之术，即可痊愈。"祝"者咒也，"由"者病的原由也。祝由之法，即借符咒禁禳来治疗疾病的一种方法。是書即用硃筆書各種文字圖符，下以墨書小字說明該字符可治病癥及用法。其用法多端：或書寫多少遍、或用湯服、或用老酒服、或書患上，或書紙貼患上，或念完噴水於患上，或祕藏於特定地點等，不一而足.
