- - Includes a bookplate for "Thomas MacKellar, Germantown, Pa.", a sales receipt for a "Dag. Portrait of a Painting of Tench Coxe" sold by "W. & F. Langenheim, March 5th, 1846", a broadside for the "Continental Museum Life Size Wax Figures. Scenes of the American Revolution!", a "Map of Boston and Adjacent Country, showing that City to be the Geographical, as well as the Intellectual and Moral, Centre of one-half of the Globe. Compiled, for use of Schools, from the latest survey of the Fields, by A. Shortfellow, Esq., Cosmographical Engineer" as "Published by Collins & M'Leester, Type Founders, No. 705 Jayne Street, Philadelphia", the title page from "The American engineer, draftsman, and machinist's assistant; by Oliver Byrne" published by C.A. Brown and Company, Philadelphia, 1853, and a page from "The Hibernia fire engine company no. 1" published in Philadelphia and printed by J.B. Chandler, 1859, showing the "Penn Steam Engine & Boiler Works" of the "Reaney, Neafie & Co."
- - Also includes an advertisement for "Currier & Ives' Series of Splendid Colored Pictures of The Life of a Fireman" showing "Plate 4. The Ruins" and a four page catalog of "Oil Chromos", "Elegant Engravings", and "Fine Steel Plate Engravings" listed by title with size and price, also "Cabinet Chromos" and "Oval Engravings", as well as some specific works of art, such as "The Transfiguration of Christ by Raphael" and "Washington Irving and His Friends" that were "For Sale by Caldwell & Co., 124 Nassau Street, New York." There is also a catalog titled "List of Connecticut Valley Stereoscopic Views. Published by J.D. Lawrence & Co., Northampton, Mass." Copyright Dec 2 1871 (B11454) with copyright stamp, date, and number on the cover. It lists 310 views of "Northampton and Vicinity, Mount Holyoke, Mount Tom, Miscellaneous Views, Sugar Loaf Mountain, So. Deerfield" as well as views in Vermont of "Brattleboro, Putney, West Dummerston, [and] Bellows Falls", and eleven "Ice and Frost Views." (See "List" no. 210 "Sugar Loaf Mountain" in LOT 13614)
