  • -  Во многих населенных пунктах Приангарья жители придерживались традиционных, поколениями выработанных правил постройки жилья. Дома чаще ставили перпендикулярно коньком к улице. Дом с двумя дворами являлся типичным. Бытовали застройки с тремя дворами, расположенными в зависимости от хозяйственных нужд. Таким же типичным являлся дополнительный прируб к дому. Старая изба называлась "истильной" (истинной) или "избой четыре стены", новая изба - "изба три стены". Дома, состоящие из двух половин, называли "изба на два жилья" - горница и изба. Дом и другие постройки ставили члены семьи или созывались помочь. Размеры хозяйства зависели от средств его владельца.
