  • -  Плотность заселения жилых построек в Приангарье была невелика. В среднем на одно хозяйство приходилось 1,5 жилого здания. Дом пятистенок получил широкое распространение во второй половине XIX в. и, как правило, принадлежал зажиточному селянину. Иногда эти дома были настолько значительными по размеру, что хозяева принимали постояльцев. Усадьба с таким домом занимала большое пространство, на котором размещались амбары, клеть, погреба, баня, "чистый" и "скотский" дворы (а иногда не два, а целых четыре), овины, конюшни, гумно на дальнем конце и т.д.
