  • -  Ежегодно на курорты озера Шира приезжало несколько опытных кумысников татар, которые селились в двух верстах от курорта (около колодцев) и ежегодно доставляли посетителям курорта кумыс по 20 копеек за бутылку. Климатические условия на озере Шира были благоприятными для кумысолечения. Кумыс - напиток, приготовляемый из кобыльего молока, является продуктом спиртового и молочнокислого брожения. Применение кумыса в лечебных целях в Сибири началось в 70-е гг. XIX в. Лечение проводилось обязательно под наблюдением врача.
