  • -  В [1912 г.] владельцем Знаменского стекольного завода стал Данилов А.В. Он решил полностью перестроить старый завод, для этого была привлечена большая рабочая сила. В первую очередь хозяин строит школу для детей рабочих, и первым учителем стал Кашин И.С., человек талантливый, музыкальный. Он перевернул скучную заводскую жизнь, устраивая как среди детей, так и взрослых, спектакли, оркестр, различные игры. Активными участниками всех затей Кашина И.С. были Иосиф Франц Лифебо, инженер-строитель из Бельгии (при нем на заводе появился локомотив, электричество) и Бауэр В.В., управляющий завода с 1912 года. Открытки с видами завода выпускались на продажу.
