  • -  The manuscript is constructed of two separate manuscripts on different papers bound together. The first manuscript has a modern foliation and the second manuscript has an original or old foliation. Owner (f. 1r, first foliation) שלי יגי"ף. Censor 29v (2nd foliation): Visto per mi Gio. Domenico Carretto 1618. Deinard 1914.
  • -  Work 1: Ff. 1r-19r (first foliation): [התחלת החכמה] Hathalat ha-Hokhmah, kabbalistic treatise on the worlds of atsilut (emanation) and Creation. With glosses copied by the scribe in "windows" alongside the text. One of the glosses on f. 8r quotes a kabbalist by the name of Ottolenghi, probably Nathan Ottolenghi. This manuscript includes only the first part on emanation, as do most of the other manuscripts of this text. It was the source for a later redaction called מעין החכמה. On the various redactions of this text cf. Y. Avivi, in Alei Sefer, 11 (1984), pp. 92-93.
  • -  Work 2: Ff. 1r-29v (2nd foliation): ליקוטים מהרמ"ע ז"ל Kabbalistic extracts on Biblical verses and diverse topics. According to the title added by a later hand, the extracts are from the works of the Italian kabbalist Menahem Azariah Fano. Other hands added glosses and references to the sources in Fano's works. It is unclear if these extracts were copied from the works of Fano or if he himself incorporated them into his writings.
