• -  [דרשות מאת שמואל ויטל] Sermons preached by Samuel b. Hayyim Vital on the eves of the New Moon (Rosh Hodesh) in Damascus. One of the sermons for the month of Tishri is signed by Vital and dated Tishri 5398=1637 נשלם הדרוש הזה בר"ה משנת השצ"ח... שמואל ויטאל ס"ט. A collection of other sermons preached on similar occasions in Damascus in 1647-48 was edited as Mekor Hayyim (Leghorn 1771). Another collection of sermons for the same occasions in 1658 is extant in MS Jerusalem, Jewish National Library, 8o 1596.
