- - [אגרות אברהם אבן שנג'י] Fragments from an epistolary exemplar compiled and copied by Abraham ibn Sanchi. Includes copies of some fifteen to twenty-five letters in whole or part. Some of the letters were written by ibn Sanchi, one was written by his father Ephraim b. Nissim ibn Sanchi to the latter's brother Abraham (ff. 8r-9r), and others are anonymous. Inter alia, a copy of a letter to Rabbi Joseph b. Ephraim Karo אל החהם הר[ב] יוסף קארו נ"ע concerning the burial rights of Jews in Jerusalem and expropriation of the pilgrimage site at the tomb of the Prophet Samuel near Jerusalem (f. 3r) and a letter to Joseph Tamari concerning the Tamari-Venturozzo divorce scandal (f. 13r). The manuscript was described in great detail and the letters to Karo and Tamari were published by M.M.
