Summary
- Angelique, known as Angel, moves from France to the United States to marry American architect, John Smith. The newlyweds set up housekeeping in Los Angeles, California. She tries her best to be a good housewife but sometimes runs into problems as she learns English and adapts to her new life and culture. In this episode Angel is hired to give French lessons to actor, James Garner. He likes Angel, and offers her a small part in his movie. After her first day on the set, Angel comes home acting like a movie star, with the stage name, "Veronica Bouchard". Johnny asks James for help, and he comes up with a plan to discourage Angel from wanting to become an actress.
