Notes
- - Title and notes from Annenberg Space for Photography exhibit spreadsheet.
- - Caption continues: A hydroelectric company has plans to construct a massive dam that will inundate much of the Omo Valley, forcibly displacing tribal societies that have lived there for generations. "They are cutting down our bush and forest and bulldozing our gardens," an elder laments. "Then they want us to sell off all our cows. No one is going to sell his cattle. They should go away. They should leave our forest alone and leave it to us to cultivate with our hands."
