  • From historically black colleges and universities in the U.S. to cultural institutions in the Middle East, initiatives associated with the care and preservation of our global photographic heritage range from the delivery of graduate-level educational programs and collections care workshops to the cultivation of new donors and the engagement of public audiences. At all times, we must connect cultural heritage preservation to issues that surround international social and economic development and civil society. We must regularly assess our graduate programs of study to develop emerging professionals who can collaborate fully with artists, curators, archivists, librarians, scientists, and the public. This presentation addresses ongoing efforts to preserve our global photographic heritage and share strategies for fundraising success.
