- - In 1660 the Jesuits began to build the Colegio de San Francisco Javier in Antigua Valladolid, today Morelia, where Miguel Hidalgo studied and Francisco Javier Clavijero taught, in whose honor it is currently known as Palacio Clavijero. It was one of the most important Jesuit colleges in Mexico and a successful example of baroque tablereado, highlighting its great cloister. It was the seat of the state congress and other government offices, currently it is a museum and cultural center.
- - Note in Spanish: Los jesuitas comenzaron a levantar en 1660 el Colegio de San Francisco Javier en la Antigua Valladolid, hoy Morelia, donde estudio Miguel Hidalgo y dio clase Francisco Javier Clavijero, en cuyo honor actualmente se le conoce como Palacio Clavijero. Fue uno de los mas importantes colegios jesuitas de Mexico y logrado ejemplo del barroco tablereado, destacando su magno claustro. Fue sede del congreso del estado y de otras oficinas gubernamentales, actualmene es museo y centro cultural.
