- - The Franciscan convent of Santa Ana in Tzintzuntzan was the first founded by this order in Michoacán and was the scene of the social work of the Danish Prince and monk Jacobo Daciano and Don Vasco de Quiroga. The convent began to be built around 1570 and underwent a comprehensive restoration process as of 2002. The convent has the temples of San Francisco and La Soledad. It brings together the Plateresque style such as that of its open and baroque chapel in the temple. of Solitude. In this convent was located the hospital for Indians, typical of the model promoted by Quiroga.
- - Note in Spanish: El convento Franciscano de Santa Ana en Tzintzuntzan fue el primero fundado por esta orden en Michoacán y escenario de la obra social del Prince danes y monje Jacobo Daciano y de don Vasco de Quiroga. El convento se comenzó a construir alrededor de 1570 y fue sometido a un proceso integral de restauración a partir de 2002. El convento cuenta con los templos de San Francisco y La Soledad Reune el estilo plateresco como el de su capilla abierta y barroco en el templo de La Soledad. En este convento se localizo el hospital de indios propio del modelo promovido por Quiroga.
