- - The Sanctuary of Guadalupe de Morelia was built at the beginning of the 18th century, and from it the Convent of the Dieguinos was built, which is currently the headquarters of the Law School of the Universidad Michoacána. The interior of the temple was decorated by Joaquin de Orta in 1915, following a popular baroque style, used in Tlalpujahua to decorate the temple of Nuestra Señora del Carmen. Its profusely polychrome baked clay decorative figures make it unique and constitute a kind of neo-baroque after the losses inflicted by the neoclassical style on multiple Mexican temples.
