Of the Mexican exports of mezcal, Zacatecas represents 10%, sending its products to the United States, Australia, Chile, Spain, England, Canada, and other countries. The quality of its agaves and the purity in the distillation process have allowed it to position itself and begin to receive international recognition. Mezcal is a brandy that is distilled in Oaxaca and different parts of Mexico, such as Morelos, Nuevo Leon, and Zacatecas, from the juices of the pineapple of the Agave angustifolia Haw in Mexico. Different agaves from different regions are used to produce spirits. The emblematic drink mezcal of Oaxaca is synonymous with hospitality and has been widely accepted in international markets where it is exported.

El mezcal bebida emblematica de oaxaca es sinonimo de hospitalidad y ha tenido gran aceptacion en mercados internacionales a donde es exportada.
