- Harry Blackmun appears alone in this recording where he gives context to the Roe v. Wade case and resulting outcomes. He gives his personal insight into why he was assigned the case, his search for answers on the importance of the Hippocratic Oath, and also discusses the reactions of American citizens, media, religious groups, and academia. Although it was fraught with controversy, he concludes it was a great experience and feels privileged that he contributed to the ruling.
