Using the archive, the project creates opportunities for dialogue within and between communities on our country's past, and the future we as citizens want to create for it and the next generation of Sri Lankans.

- The data in this dataset was conceptualized, implemented, and curated by Radhika Hettiarachchi and made available with her permission for research and scholarly purposes. The Community Memorialization Project is a partnership between the Search for Common Ground Sri Lanka and the Herstories Project Curator. In addition, there are three regional partners supporting the implementation of the project -- Prathiba Media Network in Matara, Akkaraipattu Women Development Foundation in Ampara and Viluthu Centre for Human Resources Development in Mannar.
