Summary

  • Groucho attaches himself to a wealthy dowager, patron of the grand opera, mainly for the purpose of chiseling a slice off her bankroll. Eventually, he appoints himself manager and Cupid's aid to Rosa (Kitty Carlisle), a beautiful prima donna and Ricardo (Allan Jones), an unknown singer in the opera company. Through the antics of Groucho, Chico and Harpo, the lovers are united and sing an Italian opera at the Metropolitan Opera House.
