Summary
- The tale of Sir Robin of Locksley who seeks revenge against Prince John as he plots to seize the throne of King Richard the Lionhearted. King Richard is a prisoner of the Austrians who demand a ransom for his return which Prince John refuses to pay and instead decides to declare himself king. John, aided by Sir Guy of Gisbourne and the Sheriff of Nottingham have begun a campaign of oppression against the common folk. Robin, aided by his band of merry men, including Little John, Will Scarlet, and the comical Friar Tuck, harass the Prince and his lackeys.
