About this Item

Title

  • Dancing boxing match, Montgomery and Stone

Other Title

  • Boxing dance

Summary

  • Very short film with the well-known team of Montgomery and Stone, featuring a routine from The red mill. Appears to have been filmed outdoors in front of black paper taped up on a wall as a backdrop. The two men box in a comedic manner, with the film opening as one man, in a cap, punches the other man and then ducks behind him. The second man swings wildly through the air, causing him to fall down in an acrobatic shoulder roll that in turn propels him back to a standing position. He turns and finds his opponent, then approaches him swinging as the film ends abruptly.
