Grammy-winning saxophonist and 2024 NEA Jazz Master Gary Bartz brings his legendary groove to the historic Coolidge Auditorium at the Library of Congress. With a career spanning over seven decades, Bartz has released more than 45 solo albums and contributed to over 200 as a guest artist. A luminary in his own right, Bartz has collaborated with jazz icons such as Max Roach, Charles Mingus, Art Blakey, and Miles Davis. Join us for an unforgettable evening of extraordinary music from one of America’s most influential saxophonists.
This concert marks the inaugural use of the William I. Bandas Trust Fund in the Library of Congress.
