Learn all about the work and resources of the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) at the Library of Congress. NLS staff will present a range of materials and activities to show the many ways in which they serve patrons and their families. Experience the Jefferson Building through the Visitor Engagement Office’s signature hands-on Touch History tours and displays. Hear audiobook narrator demonstrations at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. (Room LJ119).
Each Family Day includes a creative activity, connections to Library of Congress collections, a chance to talk to staff experts, and a guide to using Library resources at home.
