Cuban-Swiss musician Yilian Cañizares is one of the most intriguing contemporary violinists, singers and composers of her time, blending her native Afro-Cuban rhythms with jazz and classical music. A 2021 Swiss Music Award winner, Cañizares is known for her energetic compositions, virtuosic musicianship, and innovative musical fusions. Her first solo U.S. tour offers a performance not to be missed.
This concert is being presented through the generous support of the Revada Foundation of the Logan family.
