Join us for a special open house of the African and Middle Eastern Reading Room featuring collection displays during Live! At the Library. The reading room is an important starting point for research on African, Hebraic, and Middle Eastern topics.

From rare manuscripts and early printed books to ephemeral newspapers, posters, and pamphlets, these materials provide unique perspectives on the cultures, histories and literatures of these regions.  Visitors are invited to come and chat with librarians, explore the reading room and discover rich collections and resources.
