Notes
- - Significance: The dairy being documented is a contributing building to the Palm River Dairy. The Palm River Dairy (documented in HALS No. FL-32) is significant at the local and state level as the last dairy farm in operation in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. The dairy also maintains a high degree of integrity. The overall dairy property and associated farm buildings maintain its historic boundaries, setting, location, feeling and association. Therefore, the Palm River Dairy was determined eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places under Criterion A in the areas of Agriculture, Commerce, and Local History. The dairy barn is also individually eligible for the National Register of Historic Places based on its innovative design and association with the Palm River Dairy. The building maintains its association with the operation of a large-scale dairy farm in a rural setting and its original location, setting, and feeling.
