Notes
- - Significance: The ten structures covered in this survey are significant for their association with the development of Kahului Harbor and the Kahului Railroad Company (KRR), which was a vital factor in the growth of the harbor and the town of Kahului. "As at Honolulu and Hilo, it was the railroad which was responsible for the original harbor development." The molasses storage tanks are associated with the sugar industry on Maui, an important customer of KRR. The fuel storage tanks are associated with bulk fuel storage at Kahului Harbor, which was an important component of Maui's growth. The auto truck garage and repair bays are associated with the trucking department of KRR that was begun in 1925 (and later named the Kahului Trucking & Storage Company).
