  • Tod Machover (b. 1953) is an American composer, inventor, and educator. In 1983, he was commissioned by the Koussevitzky Music Foundation in the Library of Congress for the composition Nature's Breath for flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, bassoon, marimba, vibraphone, harp, string quartet, and double bass. The Music Division received the holograph score in 1984 (https://lccn.loc.gov/85753228).
