  • Over 125 performing arts education organizations collaborated to commission a study on the effects of COVID-19 aerosol transmission in performing arts performance settings. The study is a coalition research initiative working with labs at the University of Colorado - Boulder and the University of Maryland. Dr. Shelly Miller at the University of Colorado leads the scientific study. Mark Spede (College Band Directors National Association) and James Weaver (National Federation of State High School Associations) chair the coalition.
