- Highlights of the banquet celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of the Pathe News at which guest of honor Vice President Charles Gates Dawes denounced the filibuster, and the governor of Maryland, Albert C. Ritchie, attacked prohibition and defended states' rights. The following officials appear in the film, but are not individually identified: Governor Trinkle of Virginia; the Mexican ambassador to the United States, Manuel C. Tellez; a man who is probably Admiral Samuel S. Robison; Major General Mason M. Patrick; Major General John A. Lejeune; Ralph O. Brewster, governor of Maine; Admiral William A. Moffett; and Major General Fox Conner at the speakers' table. Also attending the banquet are: secretary of the navy, Curtis D. Wilbur; Belgian minister of agriculture, Aloys Van de Vyvere; Senator Royal S. Copeland of New York; Senator Richard P. Ernst of Kentucky; Admiral Robert E. Coontz; and Admiral Charles P. Plunkett.
