Author Nomination Form

The nomination period for the 2026 National Book Festival ended February 13, 2026. The author nomination form is currently closed and will reopen for submissions for the 2027 National Book Festival in the fall.

Once the form is available for the 2027 National Book Festival, publishers must make nominations of books published in 2026 or forthcoming in 2027. Paperback versions of books may also be nominated if they are published in 2026 or will be published in 2027. Authors should not submit book nominations. All nominations must be submitted by publishers or literary agents.
