This feature premiered in April, 1997 and are fact-checked and updated by reference staff from the Library’s Researcher & Reference Services Division. Each essay offers search tips and links selected to encourage users to dive more deeply into the Library’s growing digital collections.

E-Resources & Databases The Library subscribes to a broad range of databases and eResources that focus on research within humanities, social sciences, history, and genealogy. These online resources cover a variety of resource-types from journal articles, to conference proceedings, archives, and beyond. Note that some commercial databases are available only to researchers while on-site in a Library of Congress Reading Room.
