  • -  [פירוש התורה ע"ד הפילוסופיה] End of a short philosophical commentary on the Pentateuch. Only from the end of parashat Korah to the end of the Pentateuch. Quotes some classic commentators such as Rashi, Ibn Ezra and Moses b. Nahman, but especially Maimonides and his Guide. Text ends on f. 6r. The same scribe copied a short masoretical piece on f. 6v "found in the commentary of R. Isaiah [di Trani?]" מצאתי בפי' רבי' ישעיה ע"ה beginning י"ח דברים כתובים במקרא כתקנן והן שקורין אותן תיקון סופרים. The same text is found in a later manuscript in MS Oxford, Bodleian Library Opp. 603. This text is followed by a few short homilies in the same script and by other homilies in a different script (ff. 6v-7r). On ff. 7v-8v there are extracts from laws of mourning in Jacob b. Asher's code, Tur Yoreh De'ah, paragraphs 340, 344 and 369. Remarkable for its Fabriano paper, whose watermark dates it to the mid 14th century.
