- Grand Opera House, Edward H. Allen, manager. Rice's Surprise Party, 70 in all in the brilliant historical extravaganza, in three acts, burdened with the fascinating numerical title, "1492," libretto by R.A. Barnet, music by Carl Pflueger. The gems of the original pictures by the Kilanyi Troupe, which will be exhibited between the second and third acts. Between the acts the orchestra will perform "The Dance of the Sylphs," and "The Indian Patrol." The entire production under the personal supervision and management of Mr. Edward E. Rice.
