  • -  В Приангарье издавна применялась окраска мебели самодельной краской. Наряду с окраской широкое распространение получила и роспись, для которой были характерны различные стилевые направления. Нередко роспись совмещалась с резьбой. Наиболее часто в жилых помещениях расписывались перегородки, так как они являлись наиболее освещенной плоскостью избы. Они, как правило, примыкали близко к окнам и хорошо были видны всем присутствующим, сидящим на лавках вдоль противоположной стены (в деревянной избе неподвижно закрепленные лавки шли вдоль передней и боковой стены).
